Emily Larkin
Advanced Cognitive Engineering Laboratory

Emily Larkin is a second-year master's student completing her degree in experimental psychology with the Advanced Cognitive Engineering Laboratory (the ACE Lab), at Carleton University. Emily’s background in psychology and experiences with the Air Cadet Program drew her to the research of the ACE Lab, most notably their work in aviation safety. Her master's thesis focuses on validating the CANFLY - a cognitive health tool developed by the ACE Lab for aviators. Through her research, she hopes to engage Canadian aviation communities and policy makers in on the role cognition plays in flight safety.
