Harlan Simpkins is President and CEO of the Canadian Business Aviation Association (CBAA), where he leads national efforts to strengthen the voice of business aviation, enhance member value, and position the sector for long-term growth and competitiveness. His leadership is defined by collaboration, practical results, and a clear focus on ensuring Canadian operators succeed in an evolving global environment.

Prior to joining CBAA, Harlan most recently served as General Manager, De Havilland Flight Operations, where he led all company flight and test activities across multiple aircraft programs.

He brings extensive international experience, having worked in more than 65 countries and lived temporarily in six. Harlan holds type ratings on the Beech 1900, Dash 8, Falcon 20, and Airbus A220 reflecting a career that spans regional, business and commercial operations.
